In case you have been living under a rock and didnt hear about Jay-Z confirming reports that he and Alicia Keys have been chosen to perform “Empire State of Mind” at Game 1 of the Major League Baseball World Series tomorrow (October 28) in New York here is the video of Jay expressing his joy ( in a very mono tone manner ) 😉

“The Yankees are fantastic,” Hov said in an interview. “I’m from Brooklyn, Brooklyn-born, New York City so I grew up a Yankee and thank God for making me a Yankee. [laughs] ‘Thank the good Lord for making me a Yankee.’ Once in a lifetime experience, for me, growing up a Yankee fan so to be on the field and perform and specifically the song in New York is tailor-made for the city.
