Nicki Minaj produces music that gets put on the radio – pop stations, hip-hop stations – all over the country. Not to bag on Hot 97…but the entire country is not listening to Hot 97. As someone who paid no attention to Nicki’s newest album, I’ll say it was because I bought Pink Friday and naming it Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded only hyped it up to seem like a re-release of Pink Friday. Nicki is way too famous with people who don’t care about hip-hop status for her album to have dropped sales because some Jewish guy said she was a pop artist.
