YUP! EARLIER THIS WEEK THE COVER OF A MARGE SIMPSON PLAYBOY SPREAD HIT THE INTERNET AND NOW A FEW MORE PICS HAVE SURFACED CHECK IT OUT…..

The blue-haired housewife became the first cartoon character to appear in the adult magazine, with her modesty concealed by a Playboy bunny-shaped chair.

Inside, she features in a three-page spread including a centrefold pullout, and there is an interview entitled “The Devil in Marge Simpson”.

Playboy founder Hugh Hefner said an alternative cover, featuring lingerie model Alina Puscau, would also be available, adding: “True fans will want both.”

He also revealed that the raunchy shots, which show Bart, Lisa and Maggie’s mother in various states of undress, were taken by her husband Homer.

The move came as the team behind the cartoon, America’s longest-running American sitcom, celebrated the eve of its 20th birthday in California.

Al Jean, executive producer, said: “I talked to Marge today. She’s a little embarrassed. She wanted people to know the photo is Photoshopped. It’s really the body of Wilma Flintstone.”

A number of celebrities who have been guests on the show over the years were keen to praise Mrs Simpson as they strode down the yellow carpet at the party in Santa Monica.

Robert Englund, best known for playing Freddy Kreuger in the Nightmare on Elm Street films, said: “Marge is hot ? big hair and all. I’ve loved Julie Kavner [who supplies the voice of Marge] since Rhonda, so I’m glad some manifestation of her is getting to finally show it off.”

George Takei, the Star Trek actor, added: “It is hilarious. [The Playboy spread] is the kind of thing that makes The Simpsons a perennial. It’s going to live long and prosper.”

Speaking about his show’s milestone, Simpsons creator Matt Groening said: “It’s really weird. I mean, I thought the show would be successful. But the fact that we’re still standing here some 20 years later and talking about it is very peculiar. But very happy.”
