1.First and foremost the name, people say all is known in the name a artist picks for themselves so break down the creation of Jstackz & guilty?……jstackz : I got my name from hustling to get my money. I was known for? stacking my money so I incorporated the first letter of my name into the name j-stackz.. guilty: my name comes from me being guilty of writing great hooks, and great song concepts.

2. For how long have you both been rhyming and did you always know you wanted to be MCs’? j-stackz and guilty.. both been rhyming for about 10 yrs and always had a love to be an mc.

3. What separates you guys from other hungry up and coming unsigned artist? J-stackz and guilty..We both have a love for the music and approach it in a versatile way creating music for every genre. Whether they are young or old they will connect to the music.

4. Coming up as a youth and as a fan of hip hop who and what where some of your inspirations? Jstackz: hearing mc?s like ll cool j, big daddy kane, rakim, nas, biggie, big pun, jay-z, and 50 cent. They all had brought a style of perfection to the music and art form itself. Guilty for me I feel like run dmc set the tone for groups as far as rhyming on the same song together .

5. When in the studio, your apartment, street, where ever you lay down your rhymes what helps you focus? Do you have a ritual before you write? J-stackz: I don?t really have a ritual. I just let the track lead me into the direction to write. guilty: for me I just enjoy life and look for the good in every situation, it helps me write my music.

6. Whats one word that best describes you as an artist (individually) and why?j-stackz: focused because I am serious when in the studio, or stage. I stay focused on my goal of conquering the game. Guilty creative cause when I write I am full of ideas I get from everyday life? I am like a sponge

7. If you could have a collaboration with anyone, past or present who would it be and why?jstackz and guilty. Biggie smalls cause his flow was so ill and I feel like the studio session with him would have been crazy.

8. If you where to get signed, what label would be the ideal house for you? J-stackz and guilty: Rocnation being that it?s a new label and it?s owned by an artist who understands what it likes is to be an upcoming artist.

9.Describe your ideal first LP, what would it consist of, content wise, what would set that album apart from the rest currently out? J-stackz and guilty Well first it would be a well rounded album that would consist of our struggle, our hunger and love for the music. Also it would have all of the joys and pains that we go through day in and day out.? Every person from every walk of life can pick our album up and find a song to relate to it something currently in this market you hear a lot of songs about money and cars. And for us we are so much more than that.

10. If you had one message you could leave to the general public about yourself and your work as a duo what would you want them to know? J-stackz and guilty.we will always bring you something different everytime we want to make music that is timeless
